Churchill Downs adds 3,000 stadium-style seats for Derby, Oaks

Churchill Downs is moving the Infield Club out of the infield. Next year, the track will unveil Section 110, stadium-style seating on the first turn, for the Kentucky Derby and the Oaks, May 3 and 4.

A two-day package will range from $698 for seats out in the open to $799 for seats under cover. About a third of the 30 rows of seats will be under cover.

All will have cupholders and access to unlimited food and drinks, Churchill Downs said in a news release announcing the 3,000 new seats. The seating will replace the Infield Club, which did not have seating; in-seat food service will now be available.

Fans who registered at get first dibs on the tickets Wednesday. Churchill said those who register will get an email message with details of the offer.

The seats will be where the two-story Trackside Village hospitality tent has been on the "Clubhouse turn" in recent years.
