The Cincinnati Reds will host Big Blue Night on July 30, and a couple of former University of Kentucky basketball players will be on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Willie Cauley-Stein of the Sacramento Kings, both first-round picks in last month's NBA Draft, will be on the field prior to the Reds' game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Two fans will be randomly selected from the crowd that night to attend the Aug. 1 Reds game in the CBTS Pilot House with UK men's basketball coach John Calipari. Winners may bring one guest to the game. Every game ticket will be entered into the drawing.
A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to the Kids 2 Camp Fund, which assists in providing scholarships for underprivileged children to attend the area youth basketball ProCamps featuring Calipari, Towns, Cauley-Stein and fellow former Cats Devin Booker, Trey Lyles, Dakari Johnson, Andrew Harrison, and Aaron Harrison.
Tickets for the game are available at Reds.com/BigBlue. Additional information on the Big Blue ProCamps Tour can be found at BigBlueProCamps.com.
