Russell Dixon's RBI double with two outs in the ninth innings sent the Lexington Legends to a 2-1 win over Kannapolis Thursday to snap a three-game losing streak.
Dixon knocked in Max Sapp with the line drive to right field to make the difference in a game highlighted by a couple of fine performances from each team's starting pitcher.

Legends right-hander Jake Leonhardt gave up three hits and one run over six innings. He struck out four and walked three.
Intimidators right-hander Santo Luis, who played for Lexington last season, gave up two hits and one unearned run in five innings. Luis struck out nine and didn't walk a Lexington batter.
Dixon went 3-for-3 with two doubles and both of Lexington's RBI. He knocked in Steve Brown with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning to tie the score at 1.
Kannapolis third baseman and former U of L star Logan Johnson went 2-for-4 with a double.
