Overall, he is 5-4 with a 2.81 ERA; on the road, he's 4-1 with a 1.80 ERA. Over his last three starts, spanning 18 innings, the former Oral Roberts University standout has given up one earned run.
Legend to watch: OF Brian Pellegrini (6-1, 240, from Willoughby, Ohio) took a five-game hitting streak into play Tuesday. He continues to have more RBI (38) than games played (35). An Astros 12th-round draft pick last year out of St. Bonaventure, Pellegrini is hitting .264 over those 35 games, with 13 homers, five doubles and two triples. The big guy can move, too — he's 4-for-5 in stolen-base attempts. Pellegrini is batting .226 on the road, .302 at home.
