Lexington Legends left-hander Jeff Icenogle struck out eight over 62⁄3 scoreless innings to give the visiting Legends their second straight shutout with a 5-0 win over Delmarva on Friday night.
Icenogle (2-7) gave up three hits and three walks to earn his first victory since May 30. The 24-year-old had been winless in his last eight starts despite giving up two runs or fewer in each of his last four games.

Third baseman Kyle Miller put the Legends ahead early with an RBI single off Shorebirds starter Luis Noel (9-6) in the first inning. Lexington added another run in the third, two runs in the fourth and a final score in the seventh.
Lexington first baseman Eric Taylor had the biggest night offensively, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, two stolen bases and five runs scored.
Miller and left fielder Brian Pellegrini each went 2-for-4. Miller knocked in two runs and Pellegrini had one RBI.
