The Lexington Legends' return to Applebee's Park after a 6-2 road trip was less than triumphant. The Lake County Captains crushed the home team 12-3.
The Captains got off to a quick start, scoring three runs off Lexington starter Robert Leonhardt in the top of the first inning. After that, the rout was on.
