Five Lexington hitters had two-hit nights and Juan Minaya fired five innings of shutout ball as the Legends opened a five-game homestand Wednesday with a 7-4 win over the Hickory Crawdads.
J.D. Martinez, Jose Altuve, Jonathan Meyer, Aaron Bray and Jiovanni Mier each had two of Lexington's 12 hits.
Martinez, who homered, and Bray drove in two each.
Minaya (4-8) has won four of his last five decisions. The right-hander held Hickory to two hits and three walks while striking out five. Kirk Clark got the last two outs, earning his 20th save.

Lexington struck for a pair of first-inning runs. Martinez's 15th homer of the season made it 3-0 in the third.
