The Lexington Legends used a four-run sixth inning to take control en route to a 9-4 win against the host Hagerstown Suns on Monday night.
Rene Garcia got the Legends' sixth-inning scoring binge started with a bases-loaded single that scored Kody Hinze. Brian Kemp followed with a walk that scored Aaron Bray. Grant Hogue then singled home Jonathan Meyer and Garcia.
Six Legends had two hits apiece and the team outhit the Suns 15-10. Garcia knocked in three runs and Grant Hogue had two RBI.
Jose Cisnero gave up two runs on five hits and three walks. He improved his record to 6-5.

League honors Goebbert
The Legends' Jacob Goebbert was named the South Atlantic League's hitter of the week after batting .435 (10-for-23) with three doubles, two home runs and 11 RBI.
Entering Monday's games, Goebbert led the league in doubles (34) and was among leaders in RBI (66) and extra-base hits (43).
