Jake Goebbert had three hits and broke Lexington's season RBI record as the Legends defeated the Rome Braves 9-3 Sunday afternoon at Applebee's Park.
Goebbert's 96th RBI of the year, tying the Legends record set in 2001 by Jon Topolski, came during a two-run first inning.
He then broke the record as the Legends broke the game open with five runs in the third inning.
Goebbert also scored three times during the game.

Kody Hinze and Grant Hogue each went 2-for-4 with two runs batted in. For Hinze, that made it 96 RBI for the season.
Jonathan Meyer also went 2-for-4. He scored twice and had one RBI.
The Legends close out the 2010 season Monday night.
