Double. Hit by pitch. Home run. Walk. Single. Single. Double.
That was the extent of Brad Dydalewicz's outing Friday night. The Asheville Tourists scored seven earned runs in the first inning off the Legends pitcher, who was pulled without recording an out. Asheville "held on" to win 12-7 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
The month of May has not been merry for Dydalewicz (0-4). In his last two starts, he has allowed nine hits, five walks and 14 earned runs in 11⁄3 innings combined.
Bryce Massanari homered and drove in four runs, and Chandler Laurent went 3-for-5 with a homer for Asheville. Rafael Ortega doubled, tripled, scored twice and knocked in three.
