Pair of four-run innings derail Legends at Greensboro

The Grasshoppers put together two four-run rallies on their way to a 9-3 win over the Lexington Legends on Monday in Greensboro, N.C.

The Legends jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Ben Orloff led off with a double, and one out later Adam Bailey hit his team-leading 11th home run.

Greensboro got one run back on Mark Canha's homer in the fourth, his fifth of the season.

After the Legends added a run in the fifth on a single by Roberto Pena, an infield out, and an RBI single by Jiovanni Mier, the Grasshoppers took command with four runs in the bottom of the fifth. Ryan Fisher and James Wooster had two-run singles.

The Grasshoppers added four more in the eighth. Wooster had a run-scoring single in that inning, too.
