Legends' loss includes brawl, walk-off homer

Cole White's home run on the first pitch of the bottom of the 10th inning gave the West Virginia Power a 2-1 win over the Lexington Legends on Monday night in Charleston.

A play at home plate in the top of the eighth inning between Legends baserunner Adam Bailey and West Virginia catcher Elias Diaz resulted in a bench-clearing brawl.

Bailey and Diaz were ejected along with the Legends' Brian Streilein and West Virginia's Brooks Pounders.

West Virginia Manager Gary Robinson had been ejected earlier in the inning for protesting a call.

West Virginia scored its first run in the first inning. A couple of wild pitches by Legends starter Michael Foltynewicz set up the score on a groundout by Justin Howard.

The Legends tied it in the eighth inning. Ben Heath grounded into a force-out, but Emilio King scored.

Legends reliever Jorge De Leon gave up the winning hit.
