Drew Maggi had four hits for the second straight game and four West Virginia pitchers combined for a six-hit shutout as the Power defeated the Lexington Legends 9-0 Sunday in Charleston.
The Power, who have won two of three so far in the five-game series, jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning.
Chase Lyles and Justin Howard started the rally with singles, and a wild pitch by Legends' starter David Martinez (6-5) put runners at second and third with one out.
Kawika Emsley-Pai's single scored Lyles and Howard. Eric Avila singled to score Emsley-Pai, and Maggi's second hit of the game brought Avila home.
Lyles added a home run in the seventh.
Starter Jameson Taillon worked the first four innings. He struck out nine batters and walked none. Justin Ennis (5-2) pitched the fifth.
