The Lexington Legends will open their 12th season of minor-league baseball on the road in 2012.

The Legends visit Greensboro from April 5-8 and Hagerstown from April 9-11 before returning to Lexington for a seven-game homestand beginning April 12.

The team announced its schedule Thursday but game times have not yet been determined.

The first homestand of the season includes four games against Kannapolis followed by three against Greenville.

The 2012 schedule includes 70 home games.

The Legends are at home against Augusta on Memorial Day, May 28, and will close the season on Labor Day, Sept. 3, against Rome.

The Legends offer a variety of season ticket plans, which are now on sale.

Individual game tickets will be available for sale in March.
