The Legends got a run in the first on Johnson's two-out, line drive single to center.
Greenville tied it in the top of the third before Lexington took the lead for good in the bottom of the inning. Johnson's double, again with two outs, drove in Justin Gominsky from second, and Matt Duffy's single scored Johnson, who had advanced to third on a wild pitch.
Mike Kvasnicka's leadoff triple started a two-run fourth for the Legends. James Howick got Kvasnicka home with a one-out single and Howick later scored on Delino DeShields' fielder's-choice grounder.
Howick scored Lexington's last run on a passed ball in the sixth.
