First baseman Zachary Johnson knocked in five runs with a pair of doubles to lead the Lexington Legends to a 7-1 victory on the road against the Kannapolis Intimidators on Saturday night.

The Legends have taken the first three games of the series, which concludes Sunday.

Johnson, who was 2-for-4, boosted his batting average to .322. He leads the South Atlantic League in RBI with 23.

Legends starter Mike Foltynewicz's only blemish came in the second inning on an RBI double by the Intimidators' Keenyn Walker. Foltynewicz (3-1) pitched six innings and gave up four hits and two walks. He had six strikeouts and lowered his ERA to 1.66. Evan Grills and Tanner Bushue combined to pitch three scoreless innings in relief.
