Will Swanner's home run in the bottom of the eighth inning broke a 3-3 tie, and the Asheville Tourists went on to defeat the Lexington Legends 4-3 on Monday night in Asheville, N.C.
The Tourists, who have won two out of three in the series, took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an RBI double by Trevor Story.
The Legends evened the score in the top of the third on double by Asheville native John Hinson and a two-out double by Jordan Scott.
Lexington moved in front with a run in the fifth. Hinson singled, stole second, and scored on a single by Delino DeShields Jr. The Tourists answered with a run in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI double by Harold Riggins.

Both teams scored in the seventh. DeShields had an RBI single for Lexington, and Jared Simon scored on a passed ball for Asheville.
Swanner's tie-breaking homer came with one out in the eighth off Legends reliever Dayan Diaz.
Tropeano pitcher of week again
For the second time this season, Legends right-hander Nick Tropeano was named the South Atlantic League's pitcher of the week. Tropeano made one start last week and pitched seven shutout innings against the Tourists.
