The Lexington Legends came from behind with three runs in the ninth inning, two on Mark Threlkeld’s home run, as they rallied past the host Hagerstown Suns 3-2 Friday night.
In the ninth, Raul Mondesi led off with a single, and Threlkeld followed with his second home run of the year, a drive to right center field, tying the game at 2-2. Fred Ford then hit a line drive that got past right fielder Brandon Miller for a triple. Bubba Starling flied out to right, and Ford just beat a throw to the plate, putting the Legends in front.
Ali Williams (4-4) picked up the win.
