Brohm times three: The Brohm brothers are all together again. Brian Brohm, the younger brother of Western Kentucky Coach Jeff Brohm, is the Hilltoppers’ new quarterbacks coach, the school confirmed Monday. Greg Brohm, the eldest of the Brohm brother trio, is WKU’s director of football operations.

It’s the first coaching job for Brian Brohm, 30, a former University of Louisville quarterback and NFL QB with the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills. He was playing with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League until he was released Jan. 6.

Jeff Brohm also confirmed that new assistant Chris Barclay will coach WKU’s running backs. Former running backs coach Bryan Ellis will lead the receivers, and new assistant Reggie Johnson will coach defensive ends.
