Collegiate bowling is a fast-growing sport, and the action comes to Lexington Sunday. Morehead State will host a tournament at Collins Bowling Centers-Eastland. The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. and will run until 9 p.m. More than 20 teams are expected to take part. In addition to Morehead State, area teams participating are Bellarmine, Louisville and Union College.
This is a great opportunity for high school bowlers to get a feel for collegiate bowling, including the various formats used in college tournaments and the tremendous school spirit the teams show. Anyone interested in seeing some top-notch young bowlers should take advantage of this opportunity.
