The high school bowling program will begin its fourth season later this month.
Tryouts will be Oct. 11 and 18 at area bowling centers.
In Lexington, tryouts will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at Collins Bowling Centers' Southland and Eastland locations.
The tryout fee is $10, which will be applied to the bowlers' fees if they make the teams for which they try out.

Bowlers in Nicholasville and Richmond should contact Strike Zone or Galaxy for tryout times
The league will bowl its season as it did last year, with matches at Eastland and Southland in Lexington, Strike Zone in Nicholasville and Galaxy Lanes in Richmond.
The season will start the end of the month and run to early March. All local public high schools are participating again this year.
Lexington 600 Club Buddy Tournament will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 11 at Collins Bowling Centers — Eastland. Cost is $40 per two person team. Teams consist of one 600 club member and a woman who has never rolled a sanctioned 600 series. Entries close at midnight Oct. 5. Entry forms are available at all area bowling centers.
