Erik Thingstad and Bill Pianovski paced another big night for the James R. Wafford Memorial league Monday at Collins Bowling Centers-Southland. Thingstad posted a 300 game, and Pianovski rolled an 802 series.
The duo were bowling against each other. Pianovski sandwiched a 286 game between two 258 games for his score. Thingstad rolled his first-ever 300 in the second game to pace a 756 series. Thingstad's team won the points for the night, according to league secretary Rick Arnold, who bowls with Thingstad.
Keith Cole came close to perfect the following night in the Beltline League at Southland, posting a 298 game. The score paced a 708 series and followed games of 215 and 195.
