Kentucky and Auburn split a pair of one-run games Sunday in Auburn, Ala., with the Wildcats taking Game 1 and the Tigers capturing Game 2.
In the opener, the Wildcats came out on top 8-7 in a game that was tied or had the lead change 10 times.
Kentucky trailed by two heading to the bottom of the eighth inning before scoring three times to secure the win.
The Wildcats got four hits from centerfielder Keenan Wiley, and Gunner Glad hit his his eighth home run of the year to start the final rally.Chris Bisson stole four bases, drew two walks and went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
UK closer Matt Little (2-1) pitched the final four innings to earn the victory. He allowed five hits and two unearned runs.
In the second game, Auburn's Hunter Morris capped a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh with a two-out RBI single, giving the Tigers a 6-5 walkoff victory.
Kentucky (23-17, 6-12 Southeastern Conference) took the lead with a run in the top of the seventh.
UK starter Taylor Rogers (4-5) gave up eight hits and six runs in 62⁄3 innings. He had five strikeouts.
Lance Ray, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, hit his fourth home run and seventh double of the season.
