The Lexington 600 Club held its annual tournament Jan. 30 at Collins Bowling Centers-Eastland. The event drew 30 600 Club members who competed in three divisions. The A division is for averages of 180 and above, the B division for averages of 160-179 and C for averages of 159 and below.
The winner in the A division was Jean Almaria, who rolled a four-game total of 840. The score earned her $80 in prize money and a championship jacket. The second spot went to Deana McLean with 813.
Joann Herndon took the B division, rolling 803 to earn $90 and a championship jacket. Finishing in second was Celia Cooper with 774.
The C division crown went to Pauline Fain for her 752 performance worth $80 and a championship jacket. Linda Perry was the runner-up with 691.
The 600 Club is made up of women who have rolled a 600 scratch series in USBC- sanctioned competition.
