Wayne Rickert, president of the oldest bowling league in Lexington, was inducted into the Knights Of Columbus International Bowling Hall of Fame on April 14, in Belleville, Ill., during the annual national tournament.

Rickert has served as president of the Knights of Columbus league in Lexington since 1988. The league began play during the 1945-46 season and has bowled every season since.

Rickert has served the Knights of Columbus International bowling association as a region director for several years. He has bowled in 31 of the last 32 national tournaments.

The highlight was his 299 game in the 2010 tournament in Canton, Mich. The score paced his doubles set and earned him the doubles championship.
