The Bengals and Browns both try to bounce back from disappointing season openers when the intrastate rivals collide in Cincinnati. This marks the teams' 78th meeting, with the Bengals holding a 41-36 advantage. (1 p.m., CBS-27, WBVX-FM 92.1)


NASCAR's Chase for the Championship begins with the GEICO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway and Jimmie Johnson in pursuit of his sixth Sprint Cup title. Johnson, who won three races during the regular season, is second in the points standings behind Denny Hamlin.(2 p.m., ESPN, WLXO-FM 96.1)


Louisville's Trinity High School takes its turn in the national spotlight when it goes on the road to Indianapolis to take on Cathedral. The Shamrocks extended their winning streak to 29 games with a 14-13 victory over St. Xavier of Cincinnati on Friday night, a game in which Trinity scored the winning touchdown with 29.7 seconds remaining. NASCAR racing returns to Kentucky Speedway in Sparta with events on back-to-back evenings. On Friday, it's the Camping World Truck Series Kentucky 201 (7:30 p.m., Speed). On Saturday, it's the Nationwide Series Kentucky 300.(4 p.m., ESPN)


Louisville's football team, coming off a narrow escape against North Carolina, takes its 3-0 record to Miami looking to avenge last season's loss to Sun Belt foe Florida International. (7 p.m., ESPNU). Meanwhile, Western Kentucky plays host to Southern Miss (7 p.m.), and Eastern Kentucky gets a visit from Jacksonville State. (6 p.m., WCYO-FM 100.7)


The Kentucky football team plays the first of seven consecutive games against Southeastern Conference opponents with a visit to Florida. Considering the Wildcats have lost 25 in a row to the Gators, this might be a great time to try something different. Where is Matt Roark when you need him? (12:21 p.m., WKYT-27)
