There was an 800 series and two perfect games at Collins Bowling Centers-Southland this past week.
Anthony Bowman rolled an 827 series in the James R. Wafford Memorial League on Oct. 13. He started with a perfect game and followed with a 279 and a 248.
The other perfect game, also in the Wafford league, was rolled by Chris Coyle as part of a 727 series.
Lexington bowlers have rolled six 800 series and seven 300 games so far this season, and all of those were achieved at Southland.

At this point last season, there had were four 800 series and six perfect games in Lexington's leagues.
Lexingtonian in Ky. Hall of Fame
Jean Southern of Lexington will be inducted into the Kentucky State Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame at 9 a.m. Oct. 25 at Galaxy Lanes in Richmond.
Southern is being honored for more than 30 years of service to the Greater Lexington USBC as a director. She also has spent over 20 years working on the annual local and state seniors' tournaments.
Southern is the fourth woman from Lexington to be inducted into the state Hall of Fame. She'll join Nila Ritchie (1997), Dixie Mattingly (1999) and Melinda Craig (2005).
