■ Morehead State alum Kelly Kulick was named the spokesperson for the Professional Women's Bowling Association. Kulick, who was a star on the old PWBA tour, was the first woman in bowling history to win a PBA Tour Title, when she won the 2010 PBA Tournament of Champions.
The PWBA will begin again this summer with a nine-event tour running into early fall. The tour will include the Women's U.S. Open and the PWBA Tour Championship.
Kulick will serve as an adviser to the tour and as an ambassador for both the tour and the sport. The tour received a three-year funding commitment from the United States Bowling Congress and the Bowling Proprietors Association of America.
