Rain forces Kentucky Bank Tennis Championships to move indoors, revise schedule

The daytime session at the Kentucky Bank Tennis Championships was moved indoors Friday because of heavy rain in Lexington.

The United States Tennis Association announced that all of the daytime matches would move inside the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Center with a revised order of play.

Tournament officials hoped the night session could be played outdoors after the rain moves through and the courts dry.

The night session is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
