After a first night split -- Florida State of the ACC beat Minnesota; Northwestern of the Big 10 beat Wake Forest -- the ACC/Big 10 Challenge resumes Tuesday night on the ESPN family of networks.

The featured game has Tom Izzo’s young Michigan State Spartans forced to visit Cameron Indoor Stadium to take on Duke’s Blue Devils. That’s a 9:30 p.m. start on ESPN.

I previewed the matchups on Monday. Joe Gigilio of the Raleigh News and Observer writes on North Carolina State’s Mark Gottfried in advance of the Wolfpack’s game with Illinois. Jessika Morgan of the News and Observer reports that Duke is still limited heading into the Michigan State game.
