Men's Basketball
After beating Stanford on Wednesday, Kentucky Coach John Calipari kept emphasizing that the victory would not have come without DeMarcus Cousins' contributions. The problem was, Stanford came close to being able to say the same thing.
Six wins to 2,000Kentucky could soon become the first college basketball program with 2,000 wins. The victory on Wednesday over Stanford puts Kentucky at 1,994. North Carolina has 1,989.

Tobias Harris, a consensus top-10 recruit and Kentucky target in the class of 2010, announced Thursday that he had signed with Tennessee.
Baseball
The University of Kentucky baseball team released its 2010 schedule Tuesday. The Cats have 15 opponents who played in the NCAA Tournament last season.
Football
Saturday night's Tennessee-Kentucky game is shaping up as one of the biggest to hit Commonwealth Stadium in years. At stake is second place in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division, a probable trip to a New Year's Day bowl, and, oh, yeah, that 24-game UT winning streak over UK.
