Al Dilley of Glasgow owns Goat Browsers, an “environmentally friendly land enhancement service." Dilly and his 17 goats are under contract with the city to goatscape (clean up) an overgrown, two-acre area of the park.
The $11.2 million East Brannon Road Extension project in northern Jessamine County has passed the midpoint in construction. Brannon Road is being extended 2.2 miles east from Lauderdale Drive to Tates Creek Road.

The Rankin family was driving down I-480 in Omaha, Nebraska, on May 18, when they spotted a cat clinging to the roof of a van driving in the lane next to them. They were able to alert the drivers of the van so they could pull over and rescue the cat.
