Lexington fire destroys house
Firefighters battled a house fire in the cold early Friday.
The fire occurred about 2 a.m. on Georgetown Road and destroyed an abandoned house in a wooded area, according to the Herald-Leader’s reporting partner WKYT.
Water availability was a problem, WKYT reported. Water had to be shuttled to the scene.
