Body found in Montgomery creek

Police are investigating the death of man whose body was found near a creek in Montgomery County on Saturday.

Authorities did not release the man’s name or details about his death on Saturday.

However, the sheriff’s office told WKYT the death was being investigated as a homicide.

A fisherman spotted the body under the Slate Creek Bridge, a dispatcher said.
