Lexington man wanted for murder arrested in Michigan
A Lexington man wanted for murder in connection with a May 7 shooting has been arrested in Michigan.
Lexington police said Courtney D. Kidd, 32, was arrested Tuesday through a joint effort by the U.S. Marshals Central Kentucky Fugitive Task Force, the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team and the Lexington police.
He was wanted on warrants for murder and first-degree robbery and was being held in the jail in Dearborn, Mich.
Kidd is accused of shooting Jordan Yeast, 26, who was found inside a vehicle at an apartment building at 164 Lakeshore Drive.
