Blackburn escapee arrested four months after walking away
An inmate who walked away from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in April was found Tuesday morning in Galveston, Texas.
Kelley Conway was serving a 17-year sentence for convictions out of McCracken County when he escaped April 7, according to a news release by the prison. His convictions included robbery and other charges.
Conway was arrested about 7:35 a.m., according to the prison. He would have been eligible for parole in February 2018.
