Man shot in back outside Lexington strip club wasn't intended target, police say
Police are looking for two assailants after a man was shot outside a Lexington strip club early Tuesday morning, police said.
Camelot West on Alexandria Drive was closing about 2:40 a.m. when a man and a woman drove into the parking lot in a white Cadillac, and several shots were fired into the departing crowd, according to preliminary reports,
One man was shot in the lower back and was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, police said. Officers said his wound did not appear to be life-threatening.
The victim apparently was not the intended target of the shooting, according to police.
Two vehicles and a building also were struck by bullets, police said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
