Couple’s deaths in Vanceburg considered murder-suicide
Kentucky State Police are investigating the deaths of two people in Vanceburg in Lewis County as an apparent murder-suicide.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, state police in Morehead received a report that two bodies were found at 430 Quicks Run Road in Vanceburg. Troopers and detectives found Crystal D. Ball, 36, and Kevin E. Ball, 51, dead in their home.
State police are not seeking any suspects in this investigation.
Trooper Scott Ferrell said police think that Kevin Ball shot Crystal Ball, then turned the gun on himself.
