Kentucky Auditor Mike Harmon's office is investigating an allegation about Scott County Public Schools, a spokesman said Tuesday,
Spokesman Michael Goins said auditors received an allegation about the district via the office's 800 KY ALERT line.
“We have not determined whether a special examination is needed,” Goins said, referring to an in-depth examination of district finances. “I can only say that we received an allegation via our TIPS line.”
