Another Republican presidential hopeful is bringing his campaign to Lexington.

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida will hold a rally Friday morning at an as-yet-undisclosed location in Lexington.

Rubio’s campaign website, Marcorubio.com, said the candidate would deliver remarks and “share his vision for a new American century” at the rally.

It also said the venue would be announced soon and that each guest would be required to register via Eventbrite. The rally is tentatively set to begin at 10:15 a.m. Friday.

On Monday, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson spoke at a rally at the HIT Center in south Lexington that attracted about 1,000 people.

Republican front-runner Donald Trump will bring his campaign to Louisville on Tuesday afternoon.

Kentucky Republican Party executive director Mike Biagi said the candidates are in the state this week to campaign for Saturday’s first-ever GOP presidential caucus in the Kentucky.
