1 person dead, 1 injured in Pulaski County house fire, according to report

One person was killed Tuesday morning after a house fire in Pulaski County, according to a report from the Herald-Leader’s news partner, WKYT.

The Woodstock Fire Department told WKYT the fire happened overnight Tuesday at a home on Liberty Road, off Highway 70. One person died while another was flown to a hospital to be treated at a burn unit, according to WKYT.

The identification of the deceased or the health status of the injured person is unknown.

The Woodstock Fire Department was assisted by Western Rockcastle Fire, along with rescue crews out of Somerset, and members of the Eubank Fire Department, among others, WKYT reported.
