Traffic mess

Both sides of Polo Club Drive from Man o’ War Boulevard to Deer Haven Drive are marked with bicycle lanes. I have lived off Polo Club for 14 years, and during the last year or so I have seen four or five people on the sidewalks and four or five bicyclists but hundreds of autos on the street, half of which is marked for bicycles.

Whoever designed this should check their math: hundreds versus four. A motorist who gets behind a slow driver is stuck there for 3 or 4 miles because there is no place to pass.

Something should be done to straighten out this mess. With the opening of the new school there is more traffic.

Residents of the affected subdivisions should get to decide about bicycle lanes.
