Here’s the 2017 Lexington All-City football team
Dillon Wheatley, who finished his career among the leading scorers in KHSAA football history, has been named Lexington Player of the Year by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Wheatley, a senior running back and linebacker at Lexington Christian Academy, scored 107 touchdowns in his four years, which would be good for sixth in the record books. He was a first-team selection to the All-City football team, voted on by Lexington’s eight head coaches.
