10 celebrities and 3 spooky rides at ScareFest you won’t want to miss

ScareFest Horror & Paranormal Convention offers a chance for scary movie buffs to meet the stars who gave life to the characters in their favorite flicks, from Freddy Krueger to Jason Voorhees.

While several actors are making their debut appearance at the convention this weekend, Brandon Griffith, who operates ScareFest with his wife, Nicole Griffith, said some of the celebrities come back year after year, and “it’s like a family reunion.”

This year, Nicole Griffith said, parties are scheduled where fans can buy tickets to join celebs for bowling, axe-throwing or a bourbon-tasting.

For the three-day expo, there are more than 60 celebrities on the guest list, and some of the star power comes with wheels.

Here are 10 celebrities and several spooky vehicles that horror fans won’t want to miss at this year’s ScareFest at downtown Lexington’s Central Bank Center:

Robert Englund, Freddy Krueger from “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” will appear with the supporting casts from the fourth and fifth movies in the series.
