Here is a Lexington list and guide of the best events for the Fourth of July holiday weekend around Central Kentucky on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and 4th of July on Tuesday if you are bored and need things to do from live music concerts, music festivals, festivals, kid-friendly events like Free Friday Flicks at Jacobson Park, comedy shows, county fairs and Fourth of July events in downtown Lexington including fireworks.

Bourbon County Fair and Horse Show

The Bourbon County Fair and Horse Show continues through June 1 at Bourbon Co. Park, 30 Legion Rd, Paris. There will be lots of events including petting zoo, truck and tractor pull, midway rides, food, parent/child look-a-like and baby contest, music, livestock, greased pig contest and more. Clark County Fair & Horse Show

The 75th annual Clark County Fair & Horse Show will run through July 1 at the Clark Co. Fairgrounds, 4980 Ironworks Rd, Winchester. There will be lots of events including 4-H and FFA exhibits, mud runs, sheep shows, power wheels derby/demolition derby, midway rides, food, petting zoo, magic show and more. Cheesecake Apocalypse Speakeasy party at Rock House Brewing
