Newsweek's AI Impact Awards 2026: Winners
Artificial intelligence is on everyone's mind. To celebrate those leading the way, Newsweek is proud to present the second annual AI Impact Awards.
The technology continues to become part of Americans' daily lives, from simplifying routine tasks to advancing science by leaps and bounds.
Adoption of AI in the workplace has doubled in the past three years, according to a Gallup Workforce survey. By early 2026, 50 percent of employed American adults reported using AI in their work roles at least a few times per year.
StartUs Insights reports that there are more than 212,000 active AI companies worldwide, a number it expects to increase 10 percent annually. One-quarter of those companies are startups.
The Newsweek AI Impact Awards 2026 honors 52 organizations across 48 categories for their AI-driven solutions to tackle complex business challenges, streamline operations, and drive substantial, measurable results across a number of industries.
This year's winners include companies in health care, entertainment, web hosting and mining, among other industries.
All of this year's AI Impact Award winners have been invited to Newsweek's AI Impact Summit, a two-day event in San Francisco, California, on September 9-10, 2026. The event aims to bring together global leaders in technology, business and policy to explore how AI is shaping the future.
For executives implementing AI, professionals integrating these tools, or curious minds tracking the future, this list identifies the innovators turning potential into results and actively transforming our world.
