Look: Prime Video introduces 'Boys of Tommen' main cast
May 15 (UPI) -- Prime Video is introducing the cast of its Boys of Tommen series.
Nancy Surridge, Conor Sanchez, James O'Donoghue and Sophie McGibbon will star in the upcoming teen drama based on the Chloe Walsh book series.
The Boys of Tommen follows Shannon Lynch (Surridge), a shy and mysterious new student at the prestigious Tommen College in Ireland. The character begins a forbidden romance with star rugby player Johnny Kavanagh (Sanchez).
O'Donoghue will play Shannon's brother Joey Lynch, with McGibbon to portray Aoife Molloy.
"These characters have lived in the hearts and minds of millions of readers, and the response to them has been overwhelming, so finding the right cast was incredibly important. Chloe has created such a rich, emotionally vivid world in these books, and as the writer adapting this story for screen it's been a privilege to be entrusted with bringing that world to life," writer Poppy Cogan said in a statement.
The Boys of Tommen hails from Wiip, the studio that previously adapted Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty for Prime Video.
