Dolly Parton's Latest Post Causes Panic

Dolly Parton sent fans into full detective mode after posting an update on her social media.

Through her official Instagram, the '60s music icon has been keeping fans updated about her activities, whether related to her music or personal life. In this way, she keeps her followers closely connected to her day-to-day moments.

However, her recent upload sparked a wave of concern after Parton shared a glamorous portrait photo on social media.

Although the post carried a heartfelt message noting, "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain," accompanied by an image of the iconic singer looking like a youthful goddess in her latest Instagram post, some of her followers interpreted it differently.

While some of the comments admired the singer's recent post, with reactions saying, "Very true, @dollyparton and tyvm for posting!" and another Instagram user adding, "Beautiful as ever, Dearest Dolly," others admitted that the uploaded photo initially made them fear something was wrong.

"I thought the lord called you home, diva," one wrote.

"Don't ever scare me like that again, holy crap," a follower mentioned.

"I just had a panic attack," a fan echoed.

"Dolly, don't scare me like that," a commenter added.

The same went for another Instagram user who said: "NOW WHY WOULD YOU SET IT UP LIKE THIS DIVA????"

"Girl, don't scare us like that!!!!!" a follower remarked.

Another had the same reaction, noting, "This scared the hell out of me."

Many celebrities have previously sparked concern with similar types of posts, especially black-and-white portraits, but the country legend is still as vibrant as ever.

In fact, Parton has a lineup of major projects this year. Among these is her collaboration with country singer and songwriter Belles for the track "Son of Jolene."

Officially released on April 17, the single served as a follow-up to the music legend's iconic 1973 hit "Jolene."

In addition, the "9 to 5" hitmaker is scheduled to open Dolly's Life of Many Colors Museum, a gallery located on the third floor of her brand-new SongTeller Hotel, which will feature some of her iconic costumes, handwritten lyrics and even personal memorabilia that fans will surely love.

The museum, which is scheduled to open this fall, will have a special interactive kids' section dedicated to her Imagination Library.
