Wendy's Brand-New Frosty Flavor Has Fans Saying They Need It Immediately
Wendy's just teased a brand-new limited-time Frosty flavor that fans are already going wild over: the Banana Swirl Frosty.
It all started on Thursday, June 4, when Wendy's took to Instagram to tease an upcoming announcement. In the accompanying video, someone did a shadow puppet show on a Wendy's bag, with a sandwich, fries, and a vanilla Frosty with yellow swirls next to it.
"Whoa, omg, who is that?? FIND OUT JUNE 15," the fast food chain captioned the update.
Not long afterward, food blog Snackolator took to Instagram to share his insider knowledge on the new flavor.
"BANANAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Wendy's looks like they're about to drop a new BANANA FROSTY SWIRL for the upcoming Minions movie, and I'm all over this one!" he declared.
Snackolator continued, "Wendy's teased this earlier today on their account, and this image is from another Wendy's account, which looks to confirm that we will be seeing this in the US!. You'll get your choice of a Vanilla Frosty with Banana Swirl, or you can go for the Chocolate Covered Banana style with a Chocolate Frosty!"
To conclude the update, he asked followers, "Are you going to be trying the Banana Frosty Swirl from @wendys? Stay tuned, and I'll update once a release date is confirmed!"

In the comments, many Instagram users were thrilled by the upcoming Frosty flavor, which is reportedly a collaboration between Wendy's and the Minions and Monsters movie hitting theaters on July 1.
One fan declared, "YUM YUM YUM! 👏😋🍌🍦."
Another exclaimed, "Oh, YES!!!!"
Someone else shared, "Hot diggedy dawg, a banana and chocolate frosty sounds awesome."
A different follower echoed, "Chocolate banana 🤤🤤🤤."
Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user commented, "Omg, this looks soo good 😍."
The Banana Swirl Frosty doesn't yet have a release date. In the meantime, Wendy's fans can enjoy three different swirl options already available at restaurants: caramel, strawberry, and brown batter. With the option of chocolate or vanilla, that means six different flavor options in total.
