Did you see a guy in a Revolutionary War-era get-up downtown today?

It wasn’t George Washington crossing the Delaware. It was Kentucky-based actor Steve Zahn crossing Ashland Avenue.

At least, that’s what artist Lori-Lyn Hurley saw.

“I was just sitting at the stop light and saw him crossing the street,” Hurley said. “I just thought it was great to see someone dressed that way.”

She could tell whoever it was was carrying Amy McGrath bumper stickers ... what she didn’t realize until after she took the photo was that it was Zahn.

She posted it to social media, where it quickly went viral.

Hurley wasn’t the only one to spot Zahn doing last-minute campaigning for the Democratic Sixth District candidate, who made it up and down Main Street, apparently.

He was at Third Street Stuff where he bumped into a couple of people and took photos.

Including with local chef Dan Wu.

And strolled over to Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, where he hung out with former University of Kentucky basketball star Rex Chapman.

Zahn also took time to chat up regular voters, too.
